Maja is a poster designer, painter, graphic artist, and illustrator. She also designs clothes and sings from time to time.

Maja graduated from the University of the Arts in Poznań (uap.edu.pl – cum laude, 2005.), where she also completed her Ph.D. (2010.) and Habilitation (2014). Maja continues to teach at the UAP as a Professor. In addition to the UAP, she also teaches at two academic institutions in Warsaw: WSFoto Academy (wsfoto.art.pl) and ViaModa.

Maja won many Polish and international awards, including The Gold Medal at the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw (2010.)

She has exhibited her works in Poland and around the world.

She regularly cooperates with and contributes to the leading Polish magazines (e.g. Gazeta Wyborcza, Newsweek Psychologia).

While not neglecting her daily art works (poster, paintings, collages), Maja always seeks new projects, new ideas and creative ways of expressing her art.
